As a microfluidic system developer with over 6 years of practical experience, Ankit specializes in creating integrated platforms that seamlessly combine fluidic, electrical, optical, mechanical, and software components for life sciences research and development. During his PhD in the deMello group, he primarily worked with droplet-based microfluidic systems and developed droplet sorting platforms based on fluorescence and absorbance detection for the directed evolution of enzymes. Currently, he is exploring novel applications of droplet sorting platforms for enzyme engineering and immune cell screening purposes.
