Quan is a master student in the School of Mechanical Engineering from the Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China (NPU). Quan received his Bachelor of Engineering from the NPU in 2019. As an undergraduate, he worked in Jing Xu’s Lab as a research fellow at Tsinghua University (THU). He mainly researched on the soft actuator’s design and fabrication using artificial nylon muscles within the Xu's Lab. He has been in the deMello Group since February 2019. Currently, he is an international fellow in the group. His research interests consist of the Soft Robotics and Micro Functional Structures.
