Andrés Javier Bello Hernandez is one of the recipients of the ETH4D (ETH for Development) program this year. We are very honored to have him join our research team to implement his great idea. He is introduced on the program webpage.
"Andrés is a Master Student in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá. Coming from Colombia, one of the most biodiverse countries in the world, he has always been interested in finding ways in which he can responsibly use nature to help the community. Particularly, at ETH Zurich he is involved in a project at the Institute for Chemical and Bioengineering that aims to create rapid tests for dengue fever, one of the diseases that most stresses the health system of countries in the intertropical zones."
