Florin holds a Bachelor degree in Interdisciplinary Sciences with a major in Chemistry and Biochemistry from ETH. He performed his master thesis in the lab of Prof Matthew Francis at UC Berkeley and received his Masters degree in Interdisciplinary Sciences from ETH in 2018, with a major in Chemistry and Molecular Biology. Florin started his PhD studies in November 2018. He conducts parts of his work in the group of Prof Aebi in the institue of Microbiology.
